Wave Function Collapse

I came across this interesting bit of code on GitHub via a newsletter.

I don’t necessarily understand the code itself, but I like the idea that you can use a small kernel of information and proliferate it with quite satisfying results. I think it happens slowly offline on multi-dimensional bitmaps but it could be an interesting experiment to see how it works on 2d blocks of audio.

If I find the time and miracle expertise to implement something like this I’ll be sure to share it here.
