Hello all
I’m working on a new feature, that would break one use case, so I need to know if, for you or in the workshop you run, this would be an issue… so here goes.
At the moment, one can use the same name for a LabelSet and a DataSet. I am not talking about the IDs, which we expect to be common across data structures, but in a patch, having a LabelSet and a DataSet called the same, since they are different types (like buffers and dictionaries in Max can)
Now, if I go ahead, and for some good reason, these would not be possible. After all, a LabelSet is a DataSet with one ID and one string ![]()
Let me know asap.
- I never use the same name for my LabelSets and DataSets
- I sometimes use the same name for my LabelSets and DataSets
- I never, but I’ve seen students/learner do this…
