We are foiled by the M4L freezing mysteries yet again! The new version in dropbox still has the old objects:

(another check is to go to ~/Library/Application Support/Cycling '74/Max 8/Settings/temp64-live where you can see the unpacked amxd: somehow it has held onto the older versions of the externals, from April :sob:)

I’ve done a screen recording of my process for forcing the device to let go of the old external, just so we have a common reference…

I’m still reasonably sure the new version works :nerd_face:

Ah! Nice sleuthing, thank you! Cannot begin to tell you how many times i have been confounded by the freezer.

I am away from my machine for the rest of the day but will test this as soon as I can. Thank you for the screen recording - very helpful!
