Hello, I’ve been using FluCoMa’s FluidLabelSet for some time and I noticed that initialising an instance crashes the server in the new FluCoMa release from Aug 2025. This isn’t the case with the previous version so I wanted to report that ASAP given that I’m about to share a patch in a repository.
This is what appears in the post window:
→ FluidDataSet(0)
Server ‘localhost’ exited with exit code 0.
server ‘localhost’ disconnected shared memory interface
The help file for FluidLabelSet does not show any changes so I’m wondering what might the problem be.
this looks like you have the famous mismatch reported in scsynth and here extensively.
tldr: make sure you have the latest flucoma with the latest SC. or keep the flucoma that works with your version of SC. this is eventually being sorted on their side, so we can sort it on our side, in the meantime everytime they update a certain part of their code, a part of our (and other plugin’s) code break, so we have to recompile.
