Live input triggers corpus sounds

Hi, I’m looking to do a task and I’m not sure what’s the best way to achieve it since Flucoma is quite big…

It’s for an installation using big inflatable birds. When someone speaks, sings or does something in a microphone, I’d like the bird in front of him to respond in its “language”. So I’m looking in a way to map what’s been recorded (almost live input) to a corpus of that bird’s sounds.

Does that make sense?

I’m on Max and eventually will use M4L.

Hi @julienrobert,

Sounds cool. Maybe this isn’t quite what you’re suggesting but I think there will be some overlap/resonances. You can describe how what you’re looking to do is different from this and we can see how to narrow down the plan.

Thanks Ted. It’s what I was looking for. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work well with the corpus I’m using and the result I’m looking for. But it was worth a try.
