I imagine this is known and/or will be addressed soon, but it looks like you can’t write (or read) to/from fluid.mds~.
(both work fine on fluid.pca~)

Was trying to build a test/comparison between KDTree-ing a large dimensional space and dimensionally reducing a pre-computed fit and then querying.
Will test with fluid.pca~ for now.
