Now this might seem far fetched, but Modalys’s synthesis can be hard to control, and therefore the idea of strange models in various timbral spaces that might be machine-listened and navigated might be of interest - I know @tutschku and @pasquetje love these things. This is not all new software, but the fact that they now have a series of video tutorial and that the objects are free might make it more appealing to some.
