It just seems like with the @select and u23523835 changes, that there would be a corresponding way to join the generated things at the “bottom” of the processing chains with some kind of corresponding changes to fluid.bufcompose~ and fluid.datasetquery~ (or even a new/renamed object for combining fluid.datatset~ since fluid.datasetquery~ is, presumably, for querying/forking fluid.datatset~s).
